GWC 2021 Desperado 3500HD v1.0
Hey everybody, got another commission build here. This one is built around a 2021 Chevy Silverado 3500HD. It’s built specifically to be a heavy duty utility truck, not an off-road trail rig. It has a few bed addons, including two different custom flatbeds, a service crane, and a tow wrecker. It does support my gooseneck pack. No, it does not support IR’s goosenecks, the client who commissioned this build did not want them, so dont complain to me about it.
You can pack a truck onto the tow bar after unfolding it. However, you can NOT pack a truck if it’s attached to the winch. The way I’ve been using this is to unfold the tow bar first and back up close to the broken truck. Deploy the tow arm, and use the winch to lift the front of the truck in the air. Use the tow bar and extend it under the front wheels of the broken truck. Lower the arm and disconnect the winch, then pack the truck. Lastly lift the tow bar up and drive away.
